Apple’s Steve Jobs unveiled a new cellphone, the iPhone, that will connect to the company’s iTunes music and video store. The iPhone has a wide, touch-sensitive screen, and no keypad. „Apple is going to reinvent the phone,” Mr. Jobs told a crowd at the Macworld expo.
Mr. Jobs also unveiled other new products, including a widescreen version of the company’s popular iPod player, and Apple TV, a $299 device that can be used to stream movies and TV shows purchased on iTunes to a television.

Apple lanseaza iPhone-ul … iar cei de la Nokia ii cam iau peste picior ca au facut un 2G, cand mai toata lumea se astepta la un 3G …

Foarte neispirata lansarea telefonului cat timp nici macar nu este aprobat de FCC. Daca e sa-l credem pe Steve Jobs cum ca telefonul ar fi cu 5 ani inaintea timpurilor, tind sa cred ca 3G-ul e un capitol al trecutului :(

@Bogdan Gavrila 3G pare sa fi fost mult zgomot pentru nimic
Trist pentru multe companii care au facut investii de miliarde intr-o tehnologie care pare sa fie moarta inainte sa se nasca cu adevarat din punct de vedere comercial.
Personal cred ca omisiunea 3G-ului este o chestiune de strategie. La urmatoarea versiune e posibil sa fie inclus pe fondul scaderii preturilor pentru aceasta tehnologie dar si a cresterii utilizatorilor.
Si daca cele de mai sus n-ar fi suficiente, cei de la Cisco ii dau in judecata pe cei de la Apple pentru folosirea brandului iPhone…
